Women on the Move's Cleveland tour will stop at ArtWorks on April 26
On Thursday, April 26, Women on the Move brought its 26-ft truck turned mobile billboard to ArtWorks as part of its Cleveland tour. Apprentices explored the multi-media resource center which was created to aid in the prevention of sexual assault, harassment, and domestic violence.“Center for Arts-Inspired Learning is so pleased to be involved in such an important project for our time. Sexual assault and domestic violence touches all of us, male and female, young and old. By partnering with Women on the Move and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, CAL is helping to bring this message to high school students in a multi-media format that engages and educates them. This is the generation that is so important in leading change,” explained Marsha Dobrzynski, Executive Director, Center for Arts-Inspired Learning. This public art project was created by the artist collaborative, LOUDER THAN WORDS - founded by S.A. Bachman and Neda Moridpour whose art strives to ignite civic dialogue and generate innovative strategies for prevention and education.
